New Wine Group – The Coastal Corkers

The Wiarts enjoyed hosting our wine tasting Group on June 27th.  We compared Old World / New World wines:
Sancerre from the Loire in France with delicious appetizers.
Sauvignon Blanc from Le Vieux Pin in Oliver, B.C., with a Chocolate Cappuccino Torte and a French Apple Cake.

WE VOTED …..Our new group will be called “The Coastal Corkers”.  Our next gathering is on Sept 12.  Christine and Steve are making reservations for the Unsworth Winery.
