Cancelled due to Rain: Butchart Gardens & Blue Poppy Buffet

The Nanoose Bay Probus Social Committee is organizing a walk through Butchart Garden and buffet lunch at the Blue Poppy Restaurant on Wednesday, September 2nd.

ENGLISHMAN RIVER FALLS PICNIC
Fri. October 2, 2026
Please join us on Friday October 2 at noon for a FREE Wiener Roast at Englishman River Falls Park.
BBQ’d Hotdogs and salad will be provided. There is a covered area with tables for approximately 36 people and other tables in the open air. Members can take a walk to the upper falls and if they wish continue to hike the loop to the lower falls, or simply sit and visit.

COURTENAY MUSEUM TOUR
Friday November 6, 2026
We have booked a tour for 30 people maximum on Friday November 6th at 10:00 a.m.
Pat Trask, their Natural History Curator will lecture on the geology of the area and fossil discoveries followed by a tour of the exhibits. There is room for 30 people. The total cost is $150.00, so the per person cost will depend on number of participants. The fee will be paid to our Treasurer, payment due by October 20th.
