Mount Arrowsmith Brewery Tour

13 members toured the Mt. Arrowsmith brewery on Feb 12th. The owner, Matt, guided us through the brewery as he and the brewmaster explained how they craft their various beers, from getting the hops, grain, water and yeast, to fermenting the beer in the large steel tanks, and on to the canning and bottling process. We were treated to a sample of their Spruce Tip IPA while on the tour. Even the non-beer drinkers enjoyed it. Following the tour we had lunch at the brewery’s Smokehouse restaurant. Many folks had samplers of several beers (and bought some to take home). The food was excellent and the staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. Many of us will be returning!
