Les Wineaux Compare Wines

On Sunday, November 23, 30 Les Wineaux members gathered at the Ransoms’ and Hills’ houses for a comparison tasting of wines at different price points.  We started with a glass of Prosecco, then proceeded to blind taste two Pinot Gris/Grigios.  We were challenged to pick the more expensive of the two.  Many people actually preferred the lower priced wine and thought it was the more expensive.  We then did a blind taste of two Cabernet Sauvignons.  They were quite similar and determining the more expensive one was a challenge.  We finished the evening with a glass of port with dessert.
