Coastal Black Tulip Festival

Saturday, May 3rd began as a beautiful, sunny day allowing 26 Probus members to view the gardens at Kingfisher Resort and Spa in Royston before enjoying a delicious lunch at their Ocean 7 Restaurant.  We were then able to skirt the rain clouds and spend time discovering what Coastal Black Winery had to offer. The large property in Black Creek held plenty of entertainment for all ages as well as farm animals and a variety of peacocks to view.  Their 350,000 flower bulbs, mostly tulips, were in bloom, allowing plenty of photo ops.

For those who were unable to attend there is still time as next weekend the Tulip Festival is still on.
