Book Club 2nd Edition April Meeting
As you age, have you begun to fear:
1. An increasing number of incidents of ” Oh, that is just on the tip of my tongue!”?
2. Forgetting what you walked into another room to get?
3. The fact that our memory of a past event is often quite different than another family member’s?
4. Forgetting to take that bottle of wine to a dinner party, when it was sitting right beside your keys?
5. Forgetting a person’s name 30 seconds after you were introduced to them?
Fear no more! The members of Book Club 2nd Edition recently read “Remember” by Lisa Genova, a former neuroscientist, and we now understand how those things happen and how to overcome them (or relax about them). As one of our members remarked, it should be required reading for everyone in Probus!
