Australian Wines
On May 6th members of Les Wineaux gathered to taste the wines of Southern Australia!
The event was held at the home of Brian and Chriss and was co-hosted by Fiona. Summer Aussie garb was encouraged and many members showed up in authentic down under apparel. Brian and Chriss had lived in Australia previously so were familiar with the viniculture and local cuisine. Brian provided some background on the region and descriptions of the wines that were tasted – three refreshing whites and three more substantial reds. Wines were paired with Aussie style small bites that were delicious!
