Book Club 2nd Edition – May meeting

At our latest meeting, in May, we discussed The Spirit of Scatarie by Leslie Crewe set on an island off the coast of Cape Breton. Themes included friendship, primitive living conditions, WWll experience, and evolving relationships, all narrated by the ghost of a girl who had drowned there decades earlier. While most of us enjoyed the book Jaz would rather have been playing bridge as you can see.
