Vintage Vinos Port Tasting

Dinner was pizza from the Taphouse with a white wine from Doa, south of the Duoro River and a red wine from the Duoro Valley.

After dinner we tasted three ports: a Fonsea Ruby Port, a Taylor Fladgate 20 year Tawny Port and Graham’s Late Bottled Vintage Port 2018.

We also did a chocolate tasting of Roger’s white, milk and dark chocolate and a cheese tasting of hard cheeses and blue cheeses.  We compared them on their own and discussed how their flavours changed with each of the three Ports.  We finished our tasting with a delicious pear tart, a pecan tart and biscotti.
