Coastal Corks Italian Night

Coastal Corks, a wine group of Nanoose Probus had our first gathering of 2026 at Tim and Alison’s in Nanaimo.
We had an Italian night, featuring wines from the North of Italy:
A white Vermentino from Liguria (Alison’s home area).
A red Montepulciano from the Abruzzo region.
A red Sangiovese from near Volterra (Tim’s family home) border of Umbria and Tuscany.
Also introduced Vin Santo and Cantuccini after a dessert of Tiramisu! .Alison’s father’s recipe.
Fabulous Italian food shared by all and a very convivial night. .Sadly a few members could not make it and they were missed by everyone.
