Prepare ye for Godspell, the classic folk-rock hit from Wicked’s composer, Stephen Schwartz! This celebration and exploration of creating community and sacrificial love explodes with catchy music, a talented cast of actor-instrumentalists and playful parables in vibrant, contemporary, and fresh theatrical magic.

PRISMA – SAIL TO THE SYMPHONY
SATURDAY JUNE 20 2026

Pacific Region International Summer Music Association:
This year’s Sail to the Symphony adventure is scheduled for Saturday June 20. We meet in the morning at the Little River ferry terminal in Comox, take the ferry to Powell River, where we meet the busses that take us to the Recreation Complex for lunch. After a fine meal in good company we will make our way to the Evergreen Theatre for a fabulous concert. This year’s selection includes Gustav Holst’s The Planets and the Symphonie Fantastique by Hector Berlioz. The student orchestra contains extremely talented young people from all over the world, and is nurtured and conducted by Maestro Arthur Arnold.
The cost for the return ferry, lunch and concert is approximately $110 – $115. We will have more details next month.
Tickets go on sale in early March and we want to be booking quickly to ensure the best seats.

Trip to France

We are planning a Probus trip to France in September 2026.

Seven day river cruise.  All meals on board and excursions on land included.

The river cruise is with the company AmaWaterways departing Sept 10 2026.   The name of the cruise is The ESSENCE OF BURGUNDY & PROVENCE

  • The ship sails from Arles to the Port of Dijon
  • All food on board and land excursions included. 

The itinerary is below, but on the Sept 10 sailing the trip is in reverse, i.e. from Arles to Dijon.

  • Category B (Green cabins) $8717.20 CAD per person   Floor to ceiling windows
  • Category C (Purple cabins)$ 8341.98 CAD per person.  Floor to ceiling windows but has some engine noise and possible vibration.
  • Category D & E (Orange and Yellow) $6981 CAD per person.  Small high windows at water level.
