New members Gail Crease and Klas Fogelklau

Klas was born and raised in Sweden and immigrated to Canada in 1970. He has two sons, both born in Vancouver, and four young grandchildren; two of whom live in Victoria and two who live in Sweden, giving Klas and Gail lots of reasons to travel back for visits. He is retired from the hospitality industry, where he focused primarily on hotels and golf courses.

Gail is originally from Wales. She grew up in and around Toronto before moving to Vancouver Island in the mid nineties. She is retired from an administrative role in land development. She now lives in Beachcomber with Klas, who introduced her to all things Swedish. She is still struggling to come to terms with herring! Gail is enjoying retirement; getting together with friends and reading good books, including valiantly trying to finish one. Her interests also include writing, music, travel, and cooking.
