COURTENAY MUSEUM TOUR
Friday November 6, 2026

We have booked a tour for 30 people maximum on Friday November 6th at 10:00 a.m.
Pat Trask, their Natural History Curator will lecture on the geology of the area and fossil discoveries followed by a tour of the exhibits. There is room for 30 people. The total cost is $150.00, so the per person cost will depend on number of participants. The fee will be paid to our Treasurer, payment due by October 20th.

Probus Christmas Party 2026

GET READY TO PARTY!

Once again we will have the rockin’ tunes of our favourite DJ, Randy from Party On The Island.

Location: Greenview Taphouse aka Fairwinds Golf Course.
Arrival time: 5:00 pm.

Locate your table, mix and mingle, cash bar, choose and pay for bottles of wine, displayed near the scotch bar (all bottles of wine including non-alcoholic are half price). There will be a 20% gratuity and 15% tax added to the price of bottles of wine. A list of available wines from the wine list and drink menu is at the bottom of this announcement.

If you prefer to bring your own wine it must be one that is not available from the venue including any vintage. The corkage fee is $35.00. Homemade wine is not permitted.

Menu: Surf and Turf includes:
Caesar salad, spinach salad, AAA top sirloin beef roast, honey ginger glazed sockeye salmon, whipped butter potatoes, roasted seasonal vegetables, garlic parmesan roasted cauliflower, jus, horseradish and mustard, fresh baked dinner rolls, lemon tart with raspberry puree and blueberries.

Buffet dinner begins at 5:45. Music begins at 7:00 pm. Door prizes will be awarded throughout the evening.

Seating will be assigned. The maximum number of people is 90 and the cost per person including gratuity and tax is $78.00.

The sign-up sheet will be on the side table at the October and November General Meetings. You must sign up and pay no later than November 21st, which is the day after the November Probus meeting. Indicate on the sign-up sheet if you have any food allergies. You may also register with Wendy Hayes at social@nbprobus.org.
Make your payment via e-transfer to treasurer@nbprobus.org. Indicate in the message box who is attending and include the word CHRISTMAS.

Since the maximum number of people is 90, get your name in early. There will be a waiting list if necessary.
