Introducing Rita and Lawrence Parisotto

South Surrey and White Rock were our home for over 40 years. With our two daughters grown we decided a change was due and headed to Vancouver Island. We love the active lifestyle and enjoying making new friends.

Rita is a retired elementary school teacher with interests in travel, golf, pickleball.
Lawrence is a retired educational technology consultant working primarily in competency-based education, standards and assessment; adaptive and individualized learning; educational business process improvement; and educational technology product development. He led development of projects in partnership with the Immigrant Employment Council of BC; worked as Director, Education Projects, Shared Services and Collaborative Programs at BCcampus, and led the E-PPRENTICE Initiative. He held various faculty and management positions at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT), and worked in health care in medical imaging.

Lawrence is interested in motor sports and previously did some automotive journalism and collector car restoration; now is interested in restorating vintage racing bicycles. He enjoys cycling, pickle ball, kayaking, hiking, wood working and carving.

Rita and Lawrence  look forward to meeting members of the community.
