Bob’s first 30 working years as an accountant was in Corporate Finance, with the last 15 years specializing in Corporate Income Tax. This included foreign assignment in South East Asia. After retiring, he and his late wife Jessie (Dec. 2021), also an accountant, started their own accounting and tax practice, enjoying working together for 20 years. In 2008 they sold their practice and in 2013 moved to beautiful Vancouver Island.
Over the years they enjoyed sailing in the Caribbean, thinking that would be their retirement spot. When their youngest son moved to BC in the mid-eighties, they began skiing Whistler/Blackcomb for a number of seasons. Along the way Bob and Jessie explored Vancouver Island and decided this was the new retirement spot.
Bob’s current interests include walking, music, reading and touring the island.
