Vicki and Bryan Beazley retired early and moved to Vancouver Island (to be closer to their son at UBC) in October 2020, during the Pandemic ☹. Now that the pandemic is over, they’re looking forward to exploring BC, trying some new outdoor pursuits like kayaking and travelling abroad. They enjoy lots of outdoor activities – have done a lot of running in the past and have even climbed a few mountains in Oregon and Washington.
Bryan was born in Canada (Alberta) but moved to Oregon in 1992. Vicki is a native of San Diego, CA and grew up hiking, camping, climbing and skiing in the California mountains. She moved to the Pacific Northwest (Seattle) in 1988 and met Bryan while working in the OTHER Vancouver (in Washington). In addition to outdoor pursuits, Vicki enjoys playing classical and ragtime piano.
