We met at Kathy Lowe’s house to discuss On the Ravine by Vincent Lam.
Everyone agreed it was an important book to read although at times hard to get through as it deals with all the complicated issues associated with addiction.
The author, who is an addictions physician, knows his subject well and provided an accurate though fictional account of the devastation of addiction and of the various agencies contributing to it.
