On Wednesday, the 29th, 46 wine enthusiasts gathered at the Commanders’ house to taste wines of Australia and New Zealand.
After starting with a glass of Prosecco, we sampled 6 wines; 3 whites and 3 reds. Each wine was accompanied by a delicious gourmet small bite. Ron C kept the evening moving by ringing a cowbell to get everyone’s attention for introduction of the wines. The wines, food, and camaraderie were so good that a wandering bear nearly crashed the party to join the fun! Many thanks to the Commanders and Sadlers for organizing and hosting the event.
