Men’s Book Club

Six members attended the meeting on Wednesday 17th June.

A lively discussion was held on the book “Last Call at the Hotel Imperial”. Majority of the people thought the book was not particularly well written with an enormous amount of material covered.  Not a lot of redeeming features in the book and it may have been better to concentrate on 2 of the individuals instead of the 5.  Book jumped around and tried to cover too much.

The foresight of the individuals was remarkable and the book bought historical events to life.  The average mark was 6.2 with a range of 5.5 to 7.5
